Bring it on
Right now we are uncertain if John will be able to come home for Thanksgiving or not. There is some issue with the company and passes. Keep your fingers crossed! Fort Bragg, North Carolina http://www.bragg.army.mil/ |
Can't way to see you Johnnie!! Note to all: John actually arrives late afternoon on Thanksgiving Day--so if you show up Thanksgiving morning, the only thing I will have for you is a swiffer and a turkey baster--but no John!! Open house 7pm on Friday is the correct information. John is looking forward to seeing friends and family alike! | You May Send a Comment to John Here: Here is a link to the training company's monthly newsletter: https://icon.army.mil/anon/309/documents/EchoNewsletterJune2008.pdf He's Going to Jump From a Perfectly Good Aircraft, While in Flight?!? The name Michael signifies "Who is like to God?" and was the war cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against Satan and his followers. Holy Scripture describes St. Michael as "one of the chief princes," and leader of the forces of heaven in their triumph over the powers of hell. He has been especially honored and invoked as patron and protector by the Church from the time of the Apostles. Although he is always called "the Archangel," the Greek Fathers and many others place him over all the angels - as Prince of the Seraphim. St. Michael is the patron of paratroopers.
SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PRAYERSt. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
